The Descent Into Dream is about the proposition of fear and disguise. Nowadays, young people are hesitant, have no goals and blindly move forward. Through the spiritual stray of dreams, daydreams and real life, we lead the ego that our deep inside yearn for.

This creation has two different actors playing the same role. The self-identified in the dream is presented in another appearance, and the body forms a field space for the soul to wander between the virtual and the real.

Re-acquaint yourself with the unfamiliar self through the subconscious, and lead the viewer to wander between waking and dreaming in the process of fear and disguise. Through the body replacement of the characters, the multiple time and spaces of the story are constructed. Allowing the viewer to create their own dreams and define their own development and the end of the story.

About the thesis, firstly, the author’s idea is that describing the creation with dreams as the motif over the years, and then leading to the origin of the creation of " The Descent Into Dream ". The author discusses through the interpretation of dreams in the East and the West, as well as related films about human unconscious and escape behavior. Sort out the themes in this creative project, and try to construct the connection between dream and reality in the creation.
