Ice Ink, the term and material mentioned in the thesis

is named after its characteristics, solid ink or/and a

solid state of ink mixed with water. Its art value was

found from one of my creation experiences in exploring

its performances on various papers. By experiencing its

various art aspects in examing match results of Ice Ink

and papers, I came to realize its art particularity deeply

reflecting the convergence of my life & work experiences

and the influence of Abstract Expressionism on me. Hope

Ice Ink application can offer future creators a better blueprint.

The content of thesis is as following：

Chapter 1：Introduction

It tells the motivation and methodology of Ice

Ink, mainly focusing on the origin, research,

and ways of creating Ice Ink.

Chapter 2：Mentality of Creating Ice Ink

The philosophy and creation of Ice Ink, which

originate from my personal life experience under

a competitive society, allow for releasing

unknown pressure from the bottom of my heart.

Furthermore, this chapter describes the

implication of Ice Ink and the influence of

Abstract Expressionism on my creative thinking.

Chapter 3：The Formation, Skill and Experiment of Ice Ink.

This part is to record all the results of Ice

Ink experiments with different kinds of paper.

Thus, valuable ideas of creating Ice Ink can

be found with the explanation of its processing

and results.

Chapter 4：This part provides the conclusion of the thesis

: Ice Ink.
