The paper studies my own collage creation works from 2012 to 2015, whose subject matter is about the reflection on daily consumption activities spectacles, using the method of collage to transfer the meaning in the existing images. The research subjects include two parts, namely, 'still life' and 'landscape'. The still life one tends to reverse the advertisement images with the application of still life painting and the visual symbols in advertisement. The landscape one re-interprets the visual spectacles in consumption, including modulation, exaggeration, etc. This study explores the work from the perspectives of its ideological background image uses and the art history; from the longing for Arcadia and its perished reality, to advertisement symbols, the beautiful and unreal simulated world visualized in the consumption spectacles and the capitalist consumption implied in it. In addition, it also applies the theories of semiotics, collage, module, spectacle and the like to discuss the techniques and image uses in the works. Finally, the study returns to the tradition approaches in art history and explains how the writer was inspired by still life painting and landscape painting. It is expected that the theory discussion in the study can classify the background theories involved in the creation and make a clear direction for development and new possibilities.
