Ruan-Xian duet Guan-Ju for Zhong-Ruan and Da-Ruan is composed by Lo-Lun Wang, which form of instruments is rare. The composer imitated the structure of three stanzas and love stories from the poems in the Book of Songs, a Chinese classical poetry, after his reading. Then, he finished the work with the imitation.

Through the collection of related documents, interviews with the composer, and comparison of different works, the author surveyed and summarized the use of composer's inspiration and writing techniques. In addition, from the viewpoints of "image" and "conception" in Chinese poetry and literature, the author explored the structure and content of music analyzed by himself. Then, he had a re-creation with personal understanding and performance techniques of the work.

To sum up, the author hoped to discuss in depth how the composer integrated the material of Eastern poetry into Western writing techniques according to these research methods. If the author performed the work, he might use interpretations of the results to approach the composer's original idea, which were based on the work itself. Also, he could give some reference and directions for those who wanted to study Lo-Lun Wang and his works.
