Animation, a form of art, originates from an idea, emotion, or feeling. Through a combination of thoughtful script-writing and animation techniques, perspectives are concerted into images. In other words, animating is representing personal concepts in the form of visible motion images. Every single method of representation presents particular challenges to one’s imagination. Rational thoughts like skills and knowledge and sensory experiences in relation to life constitute the creation of animation. This work aims to explore the intercourse between Dadaism and Symbolism and extends the subject further on the basis of them. The methods of representation of Surrealism and Symbolism are employed to create a poetic and dream-like style. A love story is used as a subject matter to uncover the repressive unconsciousness of females and symbolizes their release from unresolved conflicts. Concepts derived from Symbolism and Dadaism and methods adopted from Symbolism inspired me to represent a love story by means of an experimental collage animation. “Chrysalis love” shows a unique style and method of representation. The completion of this work will become the sustaining force for my future creations.
