"Panic Room" is a comedy directed by the author who also worked as a co-screenwriter with Yu-ChenLin, the creator of the original story.

Mayan fable predicted that December 21, 2012 is the end of the world. Previously, numerous similar predictions had been made and proved to be lies one after another.

Various of topics discussing doomsday are filled with TVs. Movies, music and comic novels are also created with the theme of doomsday. The story was about a frustrated manturned positive after mistakenly believed the doomsday declaration made by three liars broke into his house. He gave up the opportunity to be salved and tried to retrieve a relationship before the doomsday.

In the theory of the doomsday, people are divided into two crowds, believe or not. If you believe it, how would you face your life? And if not, how would you make your life go on? The author hopes to explore two things by the film, the attitude toward doomsday and the trust between people.

The author believes that the reason people believe doomsday derives from the lack of confidence in their own. You would not have courage to do uncertain things without confidence. Collective misbelief leads to collective fear and urgency. There aremany people seize the moment under this dubious circumstances while the others are blinded by many things.

The script appears as a nervous comedy, innuendos humans’ blindness in doomsday by absurd drama performances and witty lines. Despite interesting and inspiring, we hope this film can provide positive forceto let us have more confidence in the future.
