In this graduation recital interpretation, the author studied and performed three jazz vibraphonists, including Lionel Leo Hampton (1908-2002), Milt Jackson (1923-1999), Joe Locke (1959-) and their works. The author also had composed three original works played as the first and the last piece, the arrangement of the repertoire was in hope of echoing the research, focusing on the time deduction. Those compositions were written with jazz composing techniques and were inspired by the thought and understanding of the author's daily life. At the end of this interpretation, a number of interviews and suggestions from modern vibraphonists are included, hoping to provide more perspectives and information based on those maters’ experiences for Taiwanese jazz vibraphone students and enthusiasts.
