The content of this thesis discusses from the essence to the reformation of moving image, and the restoration of stop-motion animation in digital era. Also, the paper describes the different aspects of stop-motion animation nowadays by the works I created in the period of graduate school, and how modern technology inspires me to create works.

The first chapter illustrates from the origin of stop-motion animation to present. The second chapter mainly introduces the series creations of Post-it stop-motion animation and how to execute it by digital technology. The third chapter talks about the participation and collective creations on stop-frame video. The final chapter combines Post-it and QR Code together to try out a new way of stop-motion animation.
