Malcolm Arnold (1921-2006) is a famous British composer, conductor and trumpet player in the 20th century.

He devoted his life to create music, and was knighted by the Queen of England in 1993 to thank him for his contribution to British music. Arnold's musical works are very diverse, including symphonies, incidental music, ballet, prelude, sinfonietta, chamber, concertos for various instruments, instrumental music, winds ensembles, piano music and more. His musical works combines 20th century composing skills, American jazz and British traditional music.
