Abstract

This creation is based on the materials of my father’s past and the extension of it. The purpose of this film is to commemorate my father, who influenced me deeply and everything about him, though he is not with me anymore but his spirit lives on. I use the method of documentary film to record the people I have interviewed and in order to reproduce the history event in these contents, I used the method of drama film; by using these two methods to present this creation and by using the interview from my father’s colleagues、relatives and friends to record and reveal another unknown aspect of my father, and how these event will impact or effect on me, it is also a inspiration to myself、a personal salvation method, hoping to divulge recorder’s genuine、reflection and respect toward life.

The content of this creation used family affection as the main story line, the reason to make this film is inspired by the thoughts and feelings to her father, and reproduces the recollection at that time by using the method of drama film, in addition to that, the past of the previous generation trigged the affection and memory of the next generation which was linked by regrets and family affection between the three generations, it became an inspiration to the main character. Everyone made mistake and regretted, I hope though this film that I could get the sympathy from the audience -seize the day、love while you can and don’t miss the opportunity and regrets afterward.
