There are five chapters in this thesis; In the first chapter, I discuss Eric Sammut''s personal biography and musical compositions; In the second chapter, I discuss the background of Cameleon while analyzing Sammut''s thought process when writing the musical composition; In the third chapter I discuss the influence of jazz on Cameleon and analyze the use of the chord-progression, mode scale, symmetrical scale, pentatonic scale; In the fourth chapter I interpret each bar of Cameleon; Finally in the fifth chapter, I conclude with my personal opinion on Cameleon.
