He notices that the members in his family are heading their separated ways and the family is becoming falling apart, he thinks that it might be helpful to bring his family back together if he buys a vehicle which proclaims itself as “the vehicle of happiness” and it can bring happiness to every household that owns it. Wan-Hwa, Yao-Fong’s wife, tries to collect “HELLO KITTY” merchandise as a means of getting closer to the true happiness that she desires. However, the way that she tries to secure her dreams of happiness makes her become materialized. And, in the naïve world of Yao-Fong and Wan-Hwa’s children, they believe that to own a video game player is to own happiness.
