This dissertation focuses on Antonín Dvořák’s Eighth Symphony with views from a conductor. The analysis ranges from the music composition to the biography of Antonín Dvořák himself. The author will wrap up all the pre-rehearsal analysis along with situations observed during rehearsals to come up with a refined method to rehearse this piece.
