The existential experiences of everyday life and physical perception are the starting point of my creations. I specialized in using multiple media to create diverse experimental works to transcend the stereotypical properties of materials. I focused on the characteristics and contexts of media in the practice of art to discover the hidden qualities within particular materials. Since the beginning of the practice of art, I have managed to unveil the material state of work, and in the meantime, consider the way to deepen and broaden it. The materiality of the work, transformed in the process of creation, is brought into the attention of viewers, and integrated into my practice of art.

The subject of "cortex" is concerned with contemporary thinking, which I used to explore the objective relation of my works to the characteristics of painting and sculpture as art forms. Cortex is essential in my works as well as my research. The nature of cortex/body is lengthened and penetrated into my works, where I contemplated permeable material state, physical body, physical space, and the interpenetration between different physical senses. Also, I tended to ponder multi-sensory and communal thinking in the context of installation art.

The theoretical aspect of my research is concerned with the objective state of "cortex" and other relevant concepts. Based on the metamorphoses of cortex in paintings, the objective of my research is to perceive the material being of cortex as extended into "cortex interface" in conjunction with the changing intermediaries of my practice, say, the syntax of labor operations, the call of spatial imagery of physical perception, and the features of painting and installation. In reference to the elements of painting in installation art, genealogy, and ontology, I examined, analyzed, and interpreted my works. Moreover, I looked into the idea of cortex as art form in the practice of art from the metacognitive perspective. To diversify into more art forms in the future, I explored the interconnection between creative thinking and artistic practice.
