Funeral etiquette is the part of religious belief and it is full of the culture meaning of society. Unfortunately, people are afraid of funeral. The funeral procedures and custom value’s knowledge should be understood, so that as people face to funeral can choose the suit way of society to process. The creation try to investigate the Taiwan funeral etiquette by collecting documents, field research, collecting and analyzing sample from some funeral websites and using the focus group method to analyze. Finally, I make semi structured interview to understand now Taiwan funeral etiquette’s meaning and the digital website’s visual display. I collect some funeral website’s visual images and normal elements. I make result to be the website’s creation base. The website” Singing for twilight, cherishing for farewell” creation idea from the Han dynasty’s wall-painting of describing the death world and combine with Taiwan’s paradise of Confucian culture, Buddhism and Taoism’s wonderland. I try to take the visual elements and hand drawing combine with digital drawing to build the warm, beautiful place’s website scene. The website has five parts, “The role of funeral etiquette on the society”, “Funeral etiquette’s procedure”, “Funeral’s people”, “Taiwan’s notion religious of born and death”, “Funeral rule and new concept”. I use the flash grammar of Action Scripe 3.0 and display it by scenario-base website. The creation procedure tries to use website’s technology to expand the design use in funeral field. The conclusion is: 1. The content of funeral etiquette which uses the beautiful space and visual interaction to attract user’s interesting so that can reduce the fear of funeral. 2. The creation’s research arrange that funeral should be more simple because now the society focus on the faster and environmental protection, so that can develop to the one person several jobs, variety of product, customization. 3. The creation brings up the possibility of funeral etiquette combine with scenario-base website and it can be a reference of website and visual design. Creator touch the funeral field by her own experience and has a deep feeling of death situation and funeral etiquette. I realizes the funeral’s meaning and procedure, and feel that funeral etiquette is not only the extravagant in form it is also the value from the dead. I expect to change the fear of funeral by the creation and let people understand the funeral procedure and possibility through the website’s normal to develop Taiwan’s funeral etiquette meaning.
