This is a film revised from a real story, by the process of the life of Mr. Kuen-Bau Liou as a hemodialysis patient, this video reveals the looks of the family life of the disabled. A story which seems to be normal, yet reveals some conflicts we might easily ignore and forget. This also shows the misunderstanding of how the modern people face the disabled who’s in the bottom of the society.

Originally, there’s a wonderful life awaits Kuen-Bau; however, the destiny teased him and he got the Acute Renal Failure. And from the time being, it changed Kuen-Bau’s life philosophy. He turned down his girl friend, Shu-Min’s care and requested to break up. But Shu-Min didn’t leave Kuen-Bao because of his disease; instead, she firmly accompanied him to pass through the low tide of his life. And the physical burden and the taut of mind from long-term care of Kuen-Bao resolved into the recurrence of his mother’s heart disease; which made the family fell into another serious difficulty. Is this the danger of the relationship between Kuen-Bao and Shu-Min or the danger of the mother’s health? Once again it reveals the life impact because of the disease.

The whole video is filmed with a realistic style which displays the look and emphasizes on the life experience of the family of the disabled, and catches the true appearance of reality. It points out the inner problem of the family of serious disease from the taste and reflection of life. And by the experience of a hemodialysis patient, it explores the life impact the serious disease patient confronts and the mind journey of the adjustment after they got the disease. Hopefully, by my creation of work I can share my personal idea and feeling and provide the audience different appreciation of life.
