This creative research concept uses the body of the self as the main axis of thinking, conducts research through self-life experience and self-exploration, and transforms the self's past psychological trauma and gender cognition into artistic creation. Through dynamic images and video installations, explore the self-body value and gender reflection, and re-understand the self-consciousness in the body.
“Introspective Machine＂— The Discussion of Physical Self in Video Art Installation is divided into five chapters, including: Chapter Ⅰ "Introduction" uses personal growth background process to trace the impact of family environment and social factors on the author; Chapter Ⅱ "Documentation" "Exploration" explores gender recognition, body image and media application through the analysis of contemporary artists' works; Chapter Ⅲ "Creation Method" explains the author's work form and creative concept, and Chapter Ⅳ "Work Analysis" proposes the work on video installation and body issues Connect with each other, and then from the context of literature discussion, put forward personal views to respond to the propositions concerned by this creation; Chapter Ⅴ "Conclusions" is a summary of the difficulties experienced in the creative process of looking back in the past and how to adjust in my heart And discuss how future works will develop.
Through the actual creation and exhibition, the work presents the relationship between the video installation and the display space, and creates a theater sense through the atmosphere of the exhibition hall, transforming the author's inner world into a visual experience, liberating the inner uneasiness, thinking about the body and the self relationship, embrace and accept the physical characteristics and appearance at this stage.
