This dissertation aims at investigating personal artistic creation. The findings of the research will be investigating the theme of the author 's creation, Variant is, and the effect of her life experiences on appearances and developments of her creation in Variant. It is obvious that the painter’s learning experience in school and her favor to monsters, affects her art work, until she develops a personal theme - Variant. Variant eventually became the author's precious part of her own work. In addition, what does the author want to express through paintings? Is it a response to her life experience, or what kind of traits in the theme -Variant?

This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter, "Introduction" is about the author's art learning experience, which influence on the creation. Chapter 2, "Discussion of Literature," is about the origin of Variant, which was inspired by some artists, such as Giger and Bacon. Chapter 3, "Creator’s Thinking," focuses on the author’s creativity, the production and characteristics of Variant. Chapter 4, "The Way of Drawing Creation," illustrates the relationship between technique selection and creativity of the author Chapter 5, "The Concept of Creations" describes the evolution of the author's paintings during the institute period. Chapter 6, “Conclusion” points out the significance of Variant and the future of Variant.
