This study is based on Lao Zhuangzi's natural inaction, through the philosophical thinking of knowing the white and keeping the black, to explore the creation of the ink painting on the coast of Taiwan. The main method is to use composite media such as acrylic and watercolor to depict water patterns and waves with innovative techniques.

Including the establishment of the overall research direction, research content and methods in the first chapter "Introduction"; the second chapter "Academic Analysis" is to sort out the main concept basis for the creation of this series of works; the third chapter "Creation Process and Media "Experiments of Materials and Techniques" is a discussion and record of creation, technique experiments and media performance. The fourth chapter "Analysis and Interpretation of Works" presents a total of 20 works from the series "Rhythm of the Waves and Oceans-Painting the Shore" and "Knowing the White and Keeping the Black-Tideland".

In the conclusion, the reflections and prospects of the creative research process are described, including the establishment of a new situation of composition, the concept of "knowing the white and keeping the black" of dynamic and static display integrated into ink painting, and expecting to jointly create Taiwan's coastal ink painting in the art field.
