The work,《HALLUCINOGENIC》, utilizes both photography and 3D computer graphic techniques. Similar to 《Changeable Stalactites》,《 Lingering Keyboard》, 《What is Duchamp Thinking》, and《Cyborg Crab》, the computer graphics used for the work feature realistic visuals combined with illusory effects. Through altered dimensions and textures of real-life objects, 3D models, reconstructed objects, and distorted space-time of live scenes, it attempts to uncover a creative expression derived from an unreasonable logic. By combining virtual objects with live scenes and altering the guise of images, a narrative is created.

This essay includes discussions on surrealism, the development of contemporary digital imaging, and topics related to the expressions of surrealist artworks. The section on creative concepts and methods will consist of an exploration of the creative techniques and connotations used in creating the work, as well as prove that surrealism can be applied to 3D computer graphic artworks. In the final section, through a detached form of rational thinking, the creative connotations and unique aesthetics of 《HALLUCINOGENIC》are demonstrated.
