This paper is a series of creation based on the theme of memory, which is presented in a nostalgic way to discuss the people, affairs, objects and emotions that the author encountered in the past. Different aspects, structures, genres and processes of memory and the types, values and emotions of nostalgia are also discussed to broaden the theoretical support of the creation and improve the author's presenting skills and creation level. Through literature analysis, the data collected is defined and analyzed systematically. According to quality thinking method, the quality control of the art work and forms of artistic expression is established; through action research method, it is required that the action and research result should be consistent. When encountering any problems during applying creational concept into practical work, one should constantly self-examine and amend to tackle the issue. In the creative process, Chinese and Western aesthetics are combined, along with the memory of the 70s and 80s of Taiwan by recalling long-term memory, reconstructing memory, and expressing inner feeling; integrating traditional Chinese color painting and features of contemporary art, the creation style is unique. The series of the practical work include “Gaze of Life”, “Skimming over the Surface”, “Emotion Reflected through Object” and “ Inner Landscape”, which are creating under subconscious, conscious, memory and nostalgia in a symbolic expression to interpret memory with nostalgic colors and style.
