In recent years, Taiwan has experienced food security storm, false reports from social media, incitement and other events. The test of trust in the society is coming one after another. Our trust in humanity has been eroded and has been facing negative effect. With the disappearance of our trust, worry and sense of insecurity emerge.

The short film "In a Dilemma" tells the story of Jiaying Wang, a college student who is about to graduate. She is confused and worried about her future after graduation. Uncle Wang, a terminally ill man who abandoned his family when he was young, had to face up to the emotional past of his life again because he was close to death. The two seem to live in separate worlds but bump into each other because of a car accident. Jiaying is about to discover that the seemingly insignificant act of searching for Uncle Wang, driven by curiosity, will bring unexpected shocks and changes to her life.

With a short story from a radio program, and through showing the process of interaction between the heroine and the woman, this film presents the stirred alertness from the inner world of the female student, and reminds the public to learn a moral reasoning course with 50 yuan, learning to be alert and cautious between good and evil, but never lose the heart of kindness.
