Abstract
“Two Girls” is the movie describing the friendship change between a high school girl Yi-Ru and her classmate Tin-Tin. Due to the distinction of mutual appearance and the control need of Tin-Tin, Yi-Ru felt pressed and thus resulted in the separation of the friendship. Yi-Ru finally realized that she had lost a precious relationship because of the ego herself.
This movie tries to discuss the mental consciousness and awareness through such story; in fact, people always discovery and aware so called “fact” self-centeredly; besides, it also tries to show the complexity of girls’ friendship. Comparing with male, female’s inner world is harder to understand; grudge, betray, love and envy, the feelings are so mercurial within two girls. Although this movie adopts direct descriptive method, however, it is expressed via Yi-Ru’s points of view to incubate the attack by another fact at last, through such arrangement and open ending design, it attempt to enlarge the speculation level of audience.
