This research is the author's essay at graduation, with the core subject "Fantastic Territory Journal". " Fantastic Territory " is the result of creation transferred through self-consciousness, a combination of life experience and classical aesthetics. In terms of "Journal ", it means the state when I paint. It represents my incidental confusion, the memories of reality and imagination, and the particular feeling of enjoying life. The combination of this two is the core of this essay.

The content is mainly transformed from traditional landscapes by capturing life experiences and those familiar visual perceptions. Combining and transforming the preferred aesthetic style, form and techniques, I explore the idea of "Journey" and question the relationship between traditional landscapes and contemporary painting through my artwork. My practice shows my innovative thinking and ideas on conventional landscapes.

This statement divides into six chapters. The first chapter summarizes the research motivation, creation methods and scope to explore the artist's idea. In the second chapter, the theory is based on the meaning behind "Journey", the aesthetic consciousness of imagination and the relationship between humans and nature. The third chapter is the comprehensive analysis of the concept and traditional aesthetics of how this statement is written, how my practice is created, what expression of my practice is, and how the media I chose. The fourth chapter is the artist's statement to convey the author's ideas and emotions through the works and text series. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, reflection and direction for future practice after this research.
