Mozart, a musical prodigy of European Classicism, was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1756. At a young age, Mozart toured many places showcasing his talent and soon created opera works inspired by Italian opera styles. In his lifetime, Mozart created 22 operas, including opera seria opera buffa and Singspiel.
This interpretation report is focused on the Opera aria for the pants role from Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “La clemenza di Tito.” It consists of five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research motivation, purpose, scope of work, and methods. The second chapter details Mozart’s opera creation. The third and fourth chapter present the script, background, premiere, roles, the plot of the Opera “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “La clemenza di Tito”, and analysis of the four arias: < Non so più cosa son, cosa faccio >, < Voi che sapete,che cosa è amor >, < Torna di Tito a lato > and < Deh per questo istante solo >. The final chapter is my conclusion.
