What is sculpture? It is about in-betweenness, contact, and encounter. How will it be defined in this era of expansion? In my process of creation, all the contacts I have with from material selection to body movement make an accumulative impact on me. They could be intimate, brutal, energetic, and even futile. The perception is not moved from a single point to the other but on a spectrum. The created in-betweenness delineates different statuses: establishment, transition, intermission, and display. Hence, the process of writing and constructing becomes a reiterative exploration. It constitutes a current state and identity for each other and aspires to start the next chapter.
