Since the early19th century, photography techniques have been not only continuously changing the way people look at reality or history, but also with the features such as reproductive, reappearing and communicative and widely applied to various kinds of documentary, artistic creation and commercial activities. In today of the21st century, along with the developing Internet and technology, the significance of photographic images has been continuously rewritten and shown the importance of image information for recording, storage and communication. Therefore, various needs for photography techniques had emerged, and the wedding is an important moment once for a lifetime to many people; what happened on the wedding are very important memories for new couples. With the needs to record the wedding process in the form of video in order to share with friends and friends, the industry of wedding photography has been gradually growing.

The wedding photographer is new couple’s eyes, it is the photographer’s duty to record the important processes on wedding day and details the couple cannot take care of. After the wedding, what stay behind should be the recorded images of everyone’s best wishes and every moment in the wedding. So the wedding photographer's shooting style, vision, angle of catching the clips, the aesthetical sharpness and literacy all determine the way how new couple memorizes such wedding day.

To summarize, a successful set of wedding documentary images should also have the following characteristics: relatively objectiveness of wedding documentation, presentation of relations among family members, creation that combines beauty and art, as a commercial product.

The author sensed a very common phenomenon during shooting the wedding. That is, compared with Westerners, Chinese’s emotional expressions are more introvert, and most Taiwanese families are the same; loves between parents and children are not usually shown in daily lives. Along with the increasing ages of children, this becomes more and more obvious. Parents or children only show their emotions that have been repressed for many years in some critical or important moments. Therefore, we can simply see the multiple kinds of emotion such as happiness, joy, sorrow, reluctance to part from loved ones, best wishes, touching affects, and so on.

In certain processes, the disclosed emotion will be more significant, such as the moment daughter expressing her gratitude of raising to parents, parents’ reminders, their hugs, and the moment when new couple turns away to step out the house, the photographer sometimes can feel the mind-shocking emotion. The emotional expression tends to happen in the bride’s family more usually, and there is are certain levels of emotional differences expressed between daughter and father and mother. The author believes there is more or less direct or indirect affects brought by family education, ethical ideas, and traditional wedding customs.

There are many elements in the wedding, and "people" is a very important part that the author emphasizes on, especially the eye contacts between loved ones and emotional interaction which will be photographed by the author with the best effort. They not only leave very precious moments for the new couple, but also the proof for such emotion touched at that moment. And since I am so touched, I wish to touch the others. The author wishes to observe various statuses and emotions shown by different parents on wedding through the wedding shooting and record the realest moment with camera. Through the tension of image, it will offer more ways to look at and think about emotional connections between families’ relations.
