ABSTRACT

The beauty of art should always move people at various levels. Especially the works which shake the deep within are unexceptionally created through painstakingly meticulous manners. It can also be said that the works of art are the revelation of artists’ life experiences, mental activities, as well as emotion. Through distillation, transformation, and sublimation, such expressions are thus formed.

After being inspired and enlightened; through introspection,

reflection, and various sentiments; I have created works of different textures, implication, and intensity of various levels. In recent years, I have been submerged in the study of art history, aesthetics, creative techniques, and some masters’ biographies. Meanwhile, by taking the “watery reflection” from surroundings as my subject, through natural images and sentimental manners, I explored the form and color in painting in order to seek out the even more pure, permanent, simple and unadorned images hidden in the nature, as well as the ever unalterable emotions in humanity. All in the hope to endow my works with richer implication, higher intensity and more life force.

For 3 years, I have accomplished 22 scenery image paintings. ( both

abstract and non-abstract)This thesis includes 5 chapters: The 1st chapter, “Introduction”, includes research motivation and goals, research content and scope, as well as research procedures and methods. The 2nd chapter, “Image conception, its forming and transition”The 3rd chapter, “Creativity conceptual basis”, includes related researches into form and color. The 4th chapter, “Works appreciation and analysis”. The 5th chapter, “Conclusion”, includes statement of reflection and prospect.

I wish, through creativity research, to express my creativity emotions,

and to enrich others life with my intrinsic echo of life. By such means, I

wish my works can gain attention and serve as an intellectual connection between the viewers and myself.
