國立臺灣藝術大學 / 戲劇學系 / Author:KAO, JUNG-YANG

Lighting is an indispensable element in modern theater. It sculpts the space of the stage, expresses the meaning of textual realism and symbolism, and harmonizes visual unity. The purpose of this study is to explore the distribution and color of theatre lighting on Mix Tempo Studio Decade 2018 edition. In this performance, each dance has its own story and content. Whether the lighting design is presented in a realistic or freehand style, in the end, it must return to the original appearance behind the hip-hop art text.

This article will use the distribution and color of theater lighting to present a variety of stage scene styles such as wasteland, decadence, hippie and modern, and create a situational atmosphere with dancers' emotions such as regret, depression, joy and comfort, and stimulate the audience's synesthesia. All elements of the overall stage of Decade are extremely simplified and presented in a symbolic way. The principle of mixing colors of theater lamps and colors is used to create artificial light sources and simulated natural light sources to create an indoor circus and a home at dusk. With the epic sacred space, the reflections projected on the stage props and dance floor mats can also present shadows and light spots, so as to touch the audience to feel the artistic conception and depth of the creation.

In addition, this study faced the problem of insufficient number of light lamps due to limited funds, insufficient time to install the stage, adjust the lighting position and set the lighting cue, the gel of the cyclorama light has melted and penetrated light leakage, and there is lighting language barriers between the lighting designer and the choreographer., etc. The solution to the above problem is to adjust the angle of the side light and the cyclorama light, and use the moving light and LED fixture to save the time of adjusting the light positioning and the MA 3D simulation software to solve the time of setting the lighting cue. Finally, the lighting designer must interpret the image of the choreographer, who can derive the color reflected in the heart by understanding the characteristics and emotions represented by the characters in the characters.
