Abstract

It seems clear that technology changes with each passing day and artistic production demands innovation and change has become the trend of era. I am extremely curious about the characteristics of various sorts of web arts, such as interactivity, theatricality, fictitiousness and borderless “hyperlink”. Starting from original aspiration and attempt, I proceed to practice the artistic production and explore the possibility of form of web animation artistic production. From the related theories and artistic production experiments, I find the truth that the artistic production of web animation should give consideration to form and content at the same time for having a possible grasp of the essence of artistic expression as other artistic media. Therefore, I choose the form of web animation as medium to express deeper humanistic content and attempt to blend the concerned spirit of humanity of cultural heritage, religious sophistication, social harmony, and humanity’s self-awareness with my web animation artistic production. Look forward to combining the technological form and humanity content could create the artistic oeuvres, coupled with hardness and softness, sophistication and harmony. On the above-mentioned premise that my artistic production extends to four topics-culture, religion, society and ego. The gists of this study are as follows:

2.Chapter 2 explores the meaning of humanity’s concern and related theories first and extends to four sub-creative contents-culture, religion, society and ego-as guiding the theoretical basis of web animation artistic production.

3.Chapter 3 discusses creative concepts, forms and techniques of web animation artistic production and analyzes current web animation theories inducts five characteristics: a. emphasis on the interaction and participation; b. characteristic of Hypermedia; c. simulation and reality; d. borderless transmission; e. theatrical plot. Via the five characteristics explains the characteristics of web animation and develops the form and techniques of personal web animation production.

4.Chapter 4 expresses the topic of humanity’s concern by practice of web animation artistic production. Through the reflexivity and self-criticism in the process of creation, I finish concrete web animation artistic production progressively and deeply interpret works from the subject connotation and formal technique.

5.Chapter 5 summarizes the related theories of humanity’s concern and web animation artistic production in former 4 chapters, personal experimental artistic production works, and bring up the expectation of web animation development in the future.
