Richard Strauss (1864-1949) was one of the greatest late-romantici composers. He composed over 200 songs during his lifetime. This study and analysis discusses Acht Gedichte aus Letzte Blatter, Op. 10 during his early style period. Analysis and interpretation based on each songs’ contents and lyrics.
