The propose of this research is to discuss the interpretation and performance of the works played in the concert—Suite for Solo Cello No.1 BWV 1007 by J. S. Bach, Sonata for Viola and Piano, op.36 by H. F. J. Vieuxtemps, and Sonata for Viola and Piano, op.11 No.4 by P. Hindemith—by analyzing the composers' life, historical background affected the works, composing techniques such as structure and harmonic used in the works, and reviewing former researches and data. To make sure these works could be played and interpreted properly with correct articulation, musical style and technique.
