This thesis consists of two parts: (1) the program notes of the “Solo Recital”, and (2) the program notes of the “Pereformance Recital”.

The program of the Solo Recital includes “Variation WoO73” of L. v. Beethoven, “Piano Sonata in A Minor, Op. 143, D. 784” of F. Schubert, “Auvergne Rhapsody Op. 73” of C. C. Saint-Saëns, and “Caprice Espagnole, Op. 37” of M. Moszkowski.

The program of the Pereformance Recital includes “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 8” of F. Liszt, “Sonata for Piano Four Hands in B-flat Major, K. 358” of W. A. Mozart, “The Serpent’s Kiss” of W. Bolcom, and “Sonata for Four Hands” of F. Poulenc, “Suites for Two Pianos No. 2 Op. 23” of A. C. Arensky.
