This research is based on the Pop Art. Featuring such themes from general, public issues and everyday life, the wave of Pop Art has influenced the development of commercial design and art. It makes the art much closer to the public. Either the fashion trend or the school of art afterward has being affected thoroughly by the Pop Art. This phenomenon is still ongoing.

The subject matter of this creative research is mainly based on the author's own life. The elements of creation consist mainly of feet, shoes and boxes. Feet play a very important role in the three-dimensional activities of human beings. Whether standing, walking, running, jumping all have to rely on the feet. The author is interested in various sports and has special emotion toward shoes and sneakers. While the shoes always accompany us in our daily lives, they function not only to protect our feet, but also as the meaning of "traveling far" at another level. Another element, the "boxes", implies the double-meaning as protecting while also binding the shoes simultaneously. The author's own state of mind projected in those three elements to elaborate his thinking and idea of the inner self.

In the author’s schooling, silk screen prints is the most familiar method for creation. This creation adopted the Pop Art as basis, author’s own experience of life as a seed and the silk screen printing as nutrient and trestle. Those factors are vital in the development of this creative research as a whole.
