Sweet Sorrow and Miss are specially choreographed by Teacher Huang jian-biao for the writer in the graduated performance of Tacit Partner. It’s a great challenge for the writer because of the difficulty of technique and the performance quality. From the other hand, the choreographer had totally understood writer’s movement ability, therefore the writer had opportunity to show the individual style completely on the stage in the performances of these two dance works.

In this thesis, the writer attempted to make the detail analyses and explanations of the works of Sweet Sorrow and Miss, in order for the readers to comprehend these tow pieces. Besides, hope to share the performing experience with all readers.
