《The Oldest Lullaby》-2

國立臺灣藝術大學 / 應用媒體藝術研究所 / Author:You Shu Hsun

During the period in graduate school, my art works always focus on experimental films. I try to seek the possibilities to integrate all kinds of art forms into one work. For example, theatre, puppet theatre, video art and animation, which existing in a frame, while other forms breaking the frame restrictions such as sculpture, dance or music. I aim at some of those- theatre, video art, animation- to create a rich form to conclude my achievements in these 3 years in school.

“The Oldest Lullaby” is a film about time and destiny. The story goes in a alienated world in which the time and space are ambiguous. The characters seem to be strangers but highly connected to each other. They are lost in time but the relationship between them is so inseparated. Every single element in the film has its own implication and composes imagery as a whole.

In the production report, I reveal my original inspirations, the production process and afterthoughts. The project plan, story board and the copyright authorization of music are also attached to be references.
