Selecting abstract painting as a creative form is the realization of my aesthetic experience. Abstract painting has no fixed form, it’s scope is not unexceeding neither. It is our feeling expression after internalization, also the creative mind and visual presentation. The most beautiful things do not necessarily exist. However, They transmit our thoughts after fully comprehension.

This thesis manages to investigate, one by one, the form and creative points of view, based on my work during the period 0f pursuing my master degree (2019~2022), and to portray my thought-after-internalization and future direction. Author attempted to seek the connections between shape, form, and inner spirit among stacking and overlaying, also responded dimensional depth and width of paintings through abstract shaping and scrawl. A symbol of memories and paintings has been constructed, in order to investigate the meaning of abstract and visual existence. To find my own thoughts and spatial symbol, efforts goes to seeking intersections of points and a stable strength out of lines.

Creation is originated from thinking. After my works have transformed to abstract expression, shaping accordingly bring about versatile rhythm and variation. This thesis is consisted of five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, including motivation and purpose, approaches of study, practice of creation and explanations of terms. The second chapter depicts evolution of abstract paintings and fundamentals of theoretical research. The third is about creative idea, expression forms and techniques of media utilization. The fourth is the explanation and analysis of creative works. The fifth is the summary and conclusions of above.
