AN OUTING is a short film about an overburdened caregiver who attempted to desert his disabled brother, but eventually learned the bright side of humanity.

The story focuses on common challenges that disabled family faces in everyday life. It aims to discuss whether goodness can be extracted even when people are facing struggles between survival and morality.

This essay, on one hand, discusses the script from the standpoints of genre, theme and structure. On the other hand, it discusses the performance, cinematography, lighting, sound, art design and editing of the completed film. It concludes with reviewing of the process of the production and a reflection on the work.
