This thesis takes four works that created by the author as the research objects during which the author was in the research institute. The thesis discusses the creative concept of the works, the application of electronic music related technology, and analyses these four works. These four works include Fantasy of Two Concrete Music for stereo Electronic Music, Confucius Says for eight-channel electronic music, Reminiscence for flute and pre-recorded electronic music, and Nirvana Rebirth for Leap Motion, voices, ancient bells, and pre-recorded and electronics.
This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter Introduction is the inspiration of the development of electronic music to the author. The second chapter Ideas of Creation describes the author consideration during her creation in timbre creation, sound gesture creation, sound spatialization, and interactive music construction. The third chapter Related Technologies of Electronic Music explains various related electronic technologies commonly used by current electronic music composers. The fourth chapter Works Analysis and Discussion of Technical Application analysed the four works in this thesis concerning their paragraph structures, the using and development of the materials, notation methods, and the use of electronic technologies. The fifth chapter Conclusions and Reflections summarizes and introspects the deficiencies of this thesis and works.
