The technology is changing with each passing day, all kinds of art forms are blooming. In the era of highly developed movies and television and internet, flat and still paints are naturally not as attracting as images. Therefore, the painting performance in this era is also going toward the two extremes of a spectrum, a group of people move into the deep and quiet souls, exploring the tranquility and paradise in the heart. The other group of people is moving toward dramatic tension. The author is seeking the visual performance of moving quiet toward extroversion and how to generate visual power in the still images is the subject of this study.

In this study is using momentum and force as the main theme, based on the theory of Gestalt Psychology, this study considers the influence of the hidden structure in the picture on the creation from the characteristics of visual perception and various phenomena. Learning from predecessors’ techniques on momentum and picture tension, and transforming them into our own visual vocabulary in the works. Since I have never tried to express momentum and force through painting, I need to explore from composition to detailed arrangement. Hence, I need to understand the expression methods available in ink and wash painting through various experiments, including dripping ink, sound creation, boundary exploration…etc. As the first attempt, I have gained a lot, and also opened another self-dialogue, through the physical activity to strengthen the creative capability, and enjoy the fun of exploration.
