Pun, in rhetoric, is a word means there are two things or meanings in one word and if used properly, it may bring out hilarious, humorous, and other different effects. Social issues are often connected to many levels of factors and cannot be completely known by seeing only one side, which shares the similarity of pun. Therefore, this examination aims at the influences of social issues on human beings with the manifestation of “form pun”.

Design is derived from life, and so do designers should be more aware of every social issue than others in the same social system. With more and more social issues being introduced to human’s life, some of them are related to survival of all mankind. Besides the natural-caused like food crisis, soon there will be job crisis brought by the AI(artificial intelligence) when it’s been commonly used. This examination, as a derivative work, analyses how human can do to face the impacts and changes from two aspects, AI’s now and future.

In addition, being a member of global citizen, it is important of human to chew the cud and ponder that whether our consuming habits are the assaulters of worsening the food crisis. Design is the shining star in future trend, so designers should make wise use of the convenience brought by AI and use it as a pushing force to help all the mankind face the challenges in the future.
