The hand drum is one of the most primitive and traditional basic percussion instruments in the music of various ethnic groups. However, through the migration of culture and art, the same musical instrument structure concept will show different shapes and names in different regions. This article will be based on Randy Gloss's "Through the looking glass: Brazilian Pandeiro", using the Brazilian pandeiro's playing perspective to interpret the history and culture of the three most representative music styles in Brazil- Choro, Samba, and Baião. It allows readers to be better understood the melody and rhythm structure of Brazilian music, experiencing the richness and beauty of the texture.
