The theme is the research of ‘Interpret with Heart, The Vestige of Time’ artwork seris, which bases on human’s soul and its generation of image. It tends to get the nature interspace of mentalcircum stance in elapsed time from indivual’s feelings and surrounding’s changes. Furthermore, it is a record and analysis of daily visual and psychological memory that has been restructured to create specific visual tension. Also, it is an explorative journey of individual. Through diachronic observation and introspection of self, the thoughts of subconscious is summarized as soul fantasy.

The structure of this dissertation is divided into five sections. The first chapter is introduction which describes the creation motivation, research h methodology, and nouns definition. The second chapter literature review refers to surrealism and stream of consciousness which implies metaphor and memory. Thirdly, the following chapter mentions concepts, contents and modus of writer’s and artworks. the analysis of engraving concepts materials. The fourth chapter is the discussion of artworks, which are departed as four subjects: ‘Inner Obsevation’, ‘Visual Diversity’, ‘Engraving Notation’, and ‘Charm of Jounery’. Finally, the conclusion section summarizes all main points in this dissertation and extends the direction for further research.
