Antonio Pasculli (1824-1924) is a famous late nineteenth-century Italian composer . Pasculli understands the utmost limit of oboe playing and his work is full of coloratura melodies, and virtuoso difficult passages, which challenge oboe players’ skill limits. Concerto sopra motive dell’opera "La Favorita" di Donizetti is one of the frequently played songs of Pasculli’s in the repertoire, whose songs and materials are derived from Gaetano Donizetti’s (1797-1848) opera "La Favorita". The reasons why the researcher wants to discuss the work are its difficult performance skills, beautiful melodies, and the dramatic properties from the combination of the music and the story plot.
