The motive of this research came from the art class of this primary school. The researcher noticed that some students were not able to appreciate other students’ works or were lacking in self-confidence. In order to improve this situation, the researcher planned on “cooperative creation” to encourage each student to do their best. By way of appreciating the simplicity and nature in students’ works, the researcher hoped to maintain his passion for painting and create his own way to “art of graffiti”.
The kids cooperated with the researcher to graffiti in four different ways: kid-oriented, researcher-and-kid-oriented, environment-oriented, and curriculum-oriented scribbling. Infected with the kids’ joy, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for graffiti, the researcher tried to introduce graffiti into art education, and connect individual artistic creation with art education.
