This study was based on the artist’s living experiences in two different cities: Macau and Fuzhou. The towns and streets became the inspiration of creative topics. Feelings of environment from Macau to Fuzhou depict imperceptible changes and differentiations.

The artist told the differences of special features, streets, and lanes between the two cities from the perspectives of aesthetics on street scenes and architecture. Meanwhile, the artist described street relationship and micro-structure among streets and lanes in order to remember the appearances of buildings in the cities. The study also shaped environment and building lines to reflect the time background and observation of emotional feelings from the cities.

Because of the changes of environment by old cities, the artist used lines to show art space and interesting points of the cities. Through the analysis and research of the two cities, the artist tried to find appropriate format of display and special themes for creation. On the theoretical foundation, the delicate differences of location and streets were elaborated. From local comprehension and features of culture, a self-microcosmic structure was thus constructed.
