國立臺灣藝術大學 / 電影學系 / Author:LIU, YU-HSUAN

The narrative short film, 30 Days tells the story of a 10-year-old girl going through puberty and genital development. Upon discovering swelling in her chest, she mistakes herself as having breast cancer. Hence, she sets out on a journey of growth.

Through a child’s innocent perspective, this film presents the life topic that many adults still ponder today. What are we born for? What do we die for? It indirectly discusses the philosophical issue of life and death. This work originates from the screenwriter’s own experience. It is more like marking the funeral of childhood as she moves into puberty. It records her physical transformation, the changes in her role within the family and society, bidding farewell to her innocent days.
