The book, “Love Kara Be Happy”, is an illustrated book which teaches singing. A good singer can infuse his/her energy and affection into songs and express his/her story by singing, so that people can experience his/her story and feel indebted as if it were received in person. That is why singing is so attractive.

In Taiwan, singing is one of the essential activities and social tools for people. There are many karaoke stores and KTV around where people can sing. From a research of karaoke teaching, it is found that most of the students are middle-age people or the elderly who did not have many chances to learn to sing when they were young. Moreover, they have different understanding toward music, which leads to the difficulty of teaching. Another barrier is that there are not many teaching tools available.

The goal of this illustrated book is to create an easy-to-understanding book for people. The critical issue of making text book is to prevent abstruse musical theory and uninteresting content. Therefore, virtual roles which are Teacher Caca and Little Lala were created. Through their conversation, readers can figure out their singing problems by themselves so as to improve their singing skills.
