In the thousands of years of the China’s history, cloud pattern plays a very important role in cultural symbolic meaning. In the history, it symbolizes divine, auspicious, smooth and wonderful. As one of the most widely used traditional patterns in the Chinese nation, with the transformation of the dynasty, cloud pattern gradually formed visual symbols with unique modeling features and rich cultural connotations. Combining with the trend of the application of font design in the current era and using modern design and creative expression techniques, we reconstructed the traditional cloud pattern and applied it to the font design and transformed and innovated English letters to give Chinese auspicious cloud ornaments a whole new value.

We combined traditional Chinese graceful cloud patterns with English alphabet design, and hoped to transform the design of western English letters which combined with the oriental Chinese auspicious cloud ornaments into an innovative curved font design by extending the integration of regional cultural industries. Besides, we hoped this transformation would provide a broader perspective to the relevant industry and academia and explore the various ideas which derived from the "cloud pattern" as an element from the relevant literature, such as text, painting, photography, literature, film, architecture, landscape installation, commercial design, etc. In addition, we hoped people could continuously innovate from the fields of food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment that are closely related to our lives, provide various innovative programs, achieve systematic ideal goals, expand the feasibility of the life goods development and using as reference, and create more diverse creative fields and considerable business opportunities.
