Richard Strauss (1864-1949) , born in Munich German Confederation, his output of works blossom various such as, symphonic poem, opera and Lieder; considered as a leading composer represents the late flowering of Romanticism far-reaching generations thereafter. My study will use lieder as the theme, Strauss is good at introducing lyrical melody, challenging the variety of harmony and dramatizing the tension of music in composing technic. For Mӓdchenblumen, Op.22 , he express as a metaphor for girls given as different characteristics as the flowers in nature.

Strauss has completed Mӓdchenblumen, Op.22 which adopted Felix Dahn’s（1834-1912）poetry during the year 1886~1888, which is string of 4 songs as Kornblumen、Mohnblumen,、 Epheu、Wasserrose , analyze and express his writing with various composition technic and theme motivation to describe 4 girls in different characteristics so as to perform rich tunes in various aspects, which achieve richly the integrity of music with flexible manners having peoples’ intentions to realize the grace of this work.
